It’s that time of the year again - with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, there is no better time to spoil your furry family members with some delicious, homemade pumpkin dog biscuits! They are easy to make, take under an hour to make and require just four ingredients. Your dogs will love you for it! Enjoy!
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 36
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 canned pure pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons of dry milk powder
2 1/2 cups of white or whole wheat flour
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, pumpkin puree, milk powder and flour. Add ~2 tsp of water, enough so that the dough comes together.
Step 2
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough ~1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes of ~1 inch cookie cutters (or use Dog Bone and Biscuit Cookie Cutters). Gather the scraps, combine, roll and create more biscuits. Repeat until all dough is used.
Step 3
Place the biscuits ~1 inch apart on an un-greased baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, then turn over and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until hardened. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
